Background Overview
With over 24 million e-commerce websites globally, the digital marketplace is vast and dynamic. Yet, despite this vast potential, many entrepreneurs find themselves overwhelmed by the complexities of managing multiple web stores, payments, inventory, and customer interactions. In Africa alone, e-commerce sales are projected to reach $75 billion by 2025, indicating a significant opportunity for businesses.

I started off by with small business owners through interviews and surveys to gain insights into their challenges and needs. Explored their current processes for managing online stores, handling payments, inventory management, and customer communication. Gathered feedback on existing solutions and areas for improvement.

At the top, users can quickly assess total visitors, orders, and purchase revenue, giving them immediate insights into their business performance. A dynamic chart showcases total sales over months, offering visual representation of sales trends. Additionally, product analytics offer insights into product performance, while a table for managing orders facilitates efficient order processing and tracking
Stores
The Stores page in Selly serves as a centralized hub for small business owners to manage their online storefronts seamlessly. Here, users can view and edit details for each of their stores, including store name, URL, and description. Additionally, users have the ability to customize the appearance of their storefronts by uploading logos, selecting themes, and configuring layout options
It simplifies the process of managing multiple web stores, providing users with the tools and flexibility they need to effectively showcase their products and grow their businesses online.
Inventory Management
Users can easily add, edit, and organize product listings, including details such as product name, description, price, and quantity available. The Inventory Management interface provides a clear overview of current stock levels, allowing users to monitor inventory in real-time and receive alerts for low stock levels. Additionally, users can categorize products, set variants for different options (e.g., size, color), and manage product attributes to streamline the organization of their inventory.
Customer Support Settings
Selly empowers users to enhance their customer service by creating comprehensive FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to address common inquiries and concerns. Through an intuitive interface, users can easily create, edit, and organize FAQs, covering a wide range of topics related to their products, services, policies, and more. By proactively addressing common customer queries, businesses can reduce support ticket volumes, improve customer satisfaction, and streamline the support process.
