As a pivotal team member, my role included, Leading the design and development of the Global Payments feature for both our Mobile and and WebApp Platform, Collaborating with stakeholders to understand user needs and expectations, Overseeing the implementation of secure and efficient payment methods and Ensuring the user interface struck a balance between security measures and user-friendliness.
Solution
Implemented a user-friendly "Send Money Globally" feature, allowing members to seamlessly transfer funds internationally. Offered two payment methods – Bank Transfer and Mobile Money – catering to diverse user preferences.Integrated real-time Exchange Rates, empowering members to make informed decisions. Developed "Add Beneficiary" and "Delete Beneficiary" features for efficient management of recipient details. Introduced "Add Proof" functionality, enabling users to attach proof of payment for added transparency.
